Obama Please, Stop Giving In To The Republicans

The nutcase, Donald Trump is now asking for President Obama's college transcipts. The guy is feeling his oats, and taking credit for getting Obama to show his birth certificate. Obama did not need to show his birth certificate, it been made available during his first year in office for everytbody to see. Trump was being criticized and discredited broadly for harping on the birther issue and it was working. And then the president folded. Obama has said, that releasing the long form of his birth certificate would not put the lies to rest. He's right, so why do it? Obama has made Trump and the other loonies feel like winners, when they are truly not. Obama has just embolden his enemies once more. The issue will never be dead, maybe not even after he leaves office. These people will keep coming after him only because he gives in so easily. The more he gives the republicans, the more they are going to hit him over the head for more and more.

The budget deal, was a deal for the republicans because Obama gave the  republicans more than they asked for.Obama railed against tax cuts for the rich, only to cave in to them back in December of 2010 angering many of his supporters.

What Have Poor People Ever Done For This Country?

What have poor people ever done for this country?
  1. They built it. The country was literally built on the backs of poor immigrants and slaves. To this day, construction workers are some of the hardest working people in the country, yet their average wage is only $50,000 per year, which includes management. People that maintain the roads driven by the wealthy (and everyone else) are paid only $30,000 per year.
  2. They care for our children. The average nanny is paid only about $30,000 per year, usually without benefits.
  3. They teach our children. The average teacher makes around $45,000 a year, which might not sound poor, but for that salary, most positions require advanced degrees.
  4. They make the world beautiful. It would be difficult to determine the average salary of an artist, but very few of even the most talented artists achieve financial success.
  5. They inform and entertain. Writers, actors and filmmakers are just as likely to live in poverty as visual artists.
  6. They create. Inventors are often poorly paid for their inventions, if paid at all.
  7. They are entrepreneurs. Two thirds of startup businesses fail. Many of them fail because they were simply out financed (think the big coffee chain moving on to the same corner as the independent coffee house).
  8. They keep our world clean. People that do the dirtiest jobs are notoriously some of the least paid, yet can you imagine a world without people emptying our trash and cleaning our toilets?
  9. They keep you alive. Without poor people, produce would rot in the fields. There would be no goods on the shelves. There would be no store clerks to sell them to you. Most Americans would most likely starve.
  10. They fight for our country. The average starting salary of enlisted personnel is about $30,000 per year.
  11. They save the world. Many of history’s most selfless people live their lives in or near poverty. They join the Peace Corps. They work for or start charitable organizations.
  12. They pay their taxes. Much is made of the statistic that between 40 and 50 percent of people don’t pay federal income tax. That is typically because they are too poor. But even if they don’t pay federal income tax, they pay taxes. They pay Social Security taxes. They pay state taxes. They pay the identical sales tax on food and clothing as their wealthy brethren. They pay identical gasoline taxes as their more fortunate counterparts. Unlike the wealthy, taxes deeply impact the well being of the poor, yet, unlike the wealthy, they are unable to take advantage of the loopholes that were designed to specifically benefit the wealthy.

Lack of Leadership

The republicans are leading? Obama has given the narative to the GOP for a long time. This is why Obama latest poll numbers are falling. Obama gives a good speech, but that's all. When it comes to action, he is nowhere to found. The republicans are no doubt evil and hate Americans. To some Americans, he has been a great disapointment. He once railed against tax cuts for the rich, and then changed his mind and supported them. He had promised to end the two wars, not only he didn't, he sent warplanes to Lybia. In the recent budget deal, Obama give the republicans more than what they asked for in cuts. He has cut heating assistence to the poor and other vital community programs for youth and senior citizens. Obama refused to stand with American workers, in- person, to stop the republicans from busting up unions.

Obama is still chasing the republicans and they still hate him. He admires Reagan, and Ronald Reagan was no friend to the weak and poor.  Most  Americans have been begging Obama to fight. Stop letting the republicans lambast him and his administration. He refused. They want to him to push back on the garbage that is constantly thrown at him. America is in worse shape ever then in history, some of this can be blamed Obama's lack of leadership. The republicans know that the president is weak, that is why they win. That is why, when they go after him, he gives them what they ask for at the behest of hurting children, seniors, elderly, and women. Now, if It seems Obama is fighting for something, it is not because he wants too, it is because he wants to be re-elected.    After all that and more, re-electing Obama is still better that putting a evil republican in the White House.  We will still ask Obama, where is the real leadership? Sure some people like him but that is no excuse for his blatetly lack of leadership.

Get Active and Live Longer

Physical activity is an essential component of a healthy lifestyle. In combination with healthy eating, it can help prevent a range of chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and stroke, which are the three leading causes of death. Physical activity helps control weight, builds lean muscle, reduces fat, promotes strong bone, muscle and joint development, and decreases the risk of obesity. Children need 60 minutes of play with moderate to vigorous activity every day to grow up to a healthy weight.
If this sounds like a lot, consider that eight to 18 year old adolescents spend an average of 7.5 hours a day using entertainment media including TV, computers, video games, cell phones and movies in a typical day, and only one-third of high school students get the recommended levels of physical activity. To increase physical activity, today’s children need safe routes to walk and bike ride to school, parks, playgrounds and community centers where they can play after school, and activities like sports, dance or fitness programs that are exciting and challenging enough to keep them engaged.
Let’s Move! aims to increase opportunities for kids to be physically active, both in and out of school and to create new opportunities for families to move together.
  • Active Families: Engage in physical activity each day : a total of 60 minutes for children, 30 minutes for adults.
  • Active Schools: A variety of opportunities are available for schools to add more physical activity into the school day, including additional physical education classes, before–and afterschool programs, recess, and opening school facilities for student and family recreation in the late afternoon and evening.
  • Active Communities: Mayors and community leaders can promote physical fitness by working to increase safe routes for kids to walk and ride to school; by revitalizing parks, playgrounds, and community centers; and by providing fun and affordable sports and fitness programs.

"OBAMA. START ACTING LIKE A DEMOCRAT."

That is what is coming out of the mouths of liberals and democrats, and especially Americans who voted for Obama. The deal that Obama struck with the ruthless republicans, he gave them more in cuts that they asked for, and he and Reid goes out in front of the tv cameras and declare victory. Back in December, Obama give tax cuts to the rich, something he vowed he would never do. He has got us blogged down in three wars. He once said that he would end the war in Iraq. He sent in more troops. Homeless is out of controll in America. Gangs and thugs standing on corners and are killing young children. Why doesn't he tackle this problem? He signed a bill into law cutting heating assistence to the poor. He cut seniors jobs and programs for bettering the community. Obama is corporations and Wall Street. He gives lip service to issues and then hide. He wants to re-elected, if no one runs against he will be re-elected.

Republicans War on Seniors and the Middle Class

The republicans have shown many times that they have no morals, and they don't care who knows. This is not about deficits or balancing the budget this is about hurting people, the people who usually don't vote for them. This is about power, they want to change the makeup and impact of America. Republicans are controled by and answer to the teaparty, a bunch made up of some racists, and just haters of America. They are old and angry. And most of these people are utilizing the programs they want the republicans in congress to cut. It is a sad day in America when the politicians we elect adhere to a group of loud mouths whose only purpose is to get attention and turn this county upside down. They want to get rid of medicaid, medicare, and social security and take the savings and give it to the rich. They have said as much. John Boehner, the worse Speaker of House ever is the main puppet of the baggers. Why are these people picking on the poor? Why are these people picking on the seniors, and why are they in a war with the American worker? POWER!!

People like Speaker John Boehner and Rep. Michelle Bachmann do not care anything about the poor people in their represenative districts, who properly voted for them, all they do is seek face time in front of a tv camera sprouting hate for the poor and working Americans in terms of the severe budgets in community development progams and others. Republicans governors all over the united states are about breaking the backs of unions. The Paul Ryan budget is cruel, however, every republican voted for it. The people of his own district got in his ass about it. He ignored them. These kinds of people never should have been elected, however most gained office because most Americans did not vote in last November midterms. This time Americans most vote in hugh numbers to prevent an all out republican assault on America.

NEVER FIGHTS

Obama can give great speeches and meaningful speeches but in the end he gives the republicans what they want. For now it is all just talk, I'm ready for some long overdue action on these looney and hateful republicans. These people are right for America. It's all about power and rich not paying taxes like the rest of us. They are crazy.  www.facebook.com/gwilder40

OBAMA GAVE THE REPUBLICANS IN THAT DEAL MORE IN CUTS THAN THEY FIRST ASKED FOR. HE NEEDS TO GET A SPINE OR BECOME A REPUBLICAN.
He cutting the heart out of the American people and money from that will go to the rich.

I totally support the withholding of money for the Obama re-election. I am sick & tired of Obama. All he's done is capitulate to Republicans & their every demand. His negotiation tactics are the most cowardice I've ever seen - he gives up before the negotiating even begins. I cannot respect that at all. I'm disgusted with Obama, the Dems & Reps. I'm going Ind. so long as it's not Bloomberg.

Obama is a Republican as far as I'm concerned. He has continued most all the Bush W. policies that were a complete disaster. Obama has done nothing about Bush/Cheney torture, Wall St bankers/CEO's & their bonuses, mortgage foreclosure, illegal immigration, energy policy/oil Ind. He caved on the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. He didn't even TRY for a public option in Health care or break up HC insur. monopolies, anti-trust - on & on it goes.

I will May NOT vote for Obama. I DEMAND a Democratic challenge in 2012. We can't take any more of this caving in crap and not standing up against the republicans.
Sometimes I think Obama is either corrupted, careless, weak, or a republican masquerading as a Democrat. It is not that he loses, which he does, it is that he never fights for anything. Worse he always giving too much and them claims victory for a budget that will in future gut or  eliminate medicare, medicaid, social security, and other vital programs for the poor, schools, housing, communities, seniors, housing assistance and others. This will plunge Americans  deeper  into poverty. Obama has gotten to rich to care. The republicans are evil If Obama would just fight for the voters who elected him we would a bit more respect for him. Instead, he folds, wilts, deflates in front of world and calls it common sense. He caves to republicans even when he has the upper hand. I know good working people who will be hurt by his heartless slashing of the budget that will not make a dent in deficit reduction. I may not vote him the next time around. He's not the same guy.

BLACKMAILED

The Dems rolled over again to Republicans and seniors are going to suffer with this deal they have agree too. Department of Labor, human services, Education are the first on the list to have been cut. Heating assistence and more. In this deal, the dems gave up more than they got, and republicans are seeking to cut much more and expect the dems to cave as they always do. This is not about the budget, this is about hurting people.

Like everyone else (except the Teabaggers), I'm relieved that a shutdown of our government was averted, as that's the LAST thing our country needs right now! The MSM is aflutter trying to decide who won, who lost. But, IMO, the American people lost!

Once again, the tried & true tactic of Republican BLACKMAIL succeeded! Once again, the Dems gave up precious ground, the President folded on much-needed public investment spending, and the Teapublicans got far more than they expected or deserved! Once again, much was given away (we don't know what!) to appease ridiculous demands, and once again, the President failed to advocate for investment in our country, rather than denounce more spending CUTS for our depressed economy!

We would not be confronting such dire circumstances had the last BLACKMAIL attack by the Republicans not succeeded in a two-year extension of the Bush tax cuts! The Teapublicans smell WEAKNESS in this President and the Democratic establishment, so their blackmail attempts will continue to put our nation at risk, until and unless the Dems learn to "fight fire with fire"!

Why hasn't the Democratic Party, much less our President, publicly assigned BLAME for our present economic mess where the blame belongs,---on the FAILED economic philosophy of the Republican Party itself? After eight years of proven irresponsibility by a Republican administration, why are ANY Republicans granted ANY credibility on economic issues? Rather than compromising with them, why aren't they just told to "sit down and shut up"!

Government Shutdown

Republican win, yes, maybe. The Dems are still looking for a spine. What is all boils down too, is the dems giving republicans everything they want time and time again. Obama and the Democrats are trying so hard to please the republicans than the people who voted for them. How can you compromise with someone who wants the entire cake for themselves?

No matter what the outcome, a government shutdown would have uprooted millions of Americans. It may have been averted this time, however, only for the short term. So far not having the government shutdown, this is a good thing.

Some of us knew that Obama would cave in to the republicans, that is all he as ever done as president. He gives the republicans want they want and throw crumbs at the American People. I'm like some of the rest are tired of seeing my president, they guy I voted for, caving in to those who do my interest at heart. Another disapointment

“No one wants a government shutdown but the teaparty. They are ranted it. However, the dems will cave, they always do. Or they will give more than they will get. Budgets cuts are already effecting Americans and nothing has been signed yet. People are being uprooted for fear fo more cuts. Jobs are being lost work hours are being cut. The pain is already being felt.”

“The teabaggers are forcing the republicans to shutdown the government. And the republicans are good little puppets. If the government is shutdown the republicans will rightly take the blame and 2012 will be ripe for the democrats.”

“Republicans have no shame when it comes to picking on the poor. Taking from the poor and giving to the rich, how horrible.”

“These people did not know who they were voting for, this guy like all republicans governors are a joke and unfit to hold any kind of office. The American people must start vetting candidates before voting for them. These creeps get in because people don't vote. They will now!!!”

Republicans are in the pockets of haters of America, their teaparty. And people of their states be damned. The republicans only serve a few hundred, the baggers. They don't care about nothing or anybody, it's about power and dictatorship.”
