Nine people were shot and killed in Chicago over the weekend, including a little girl who sat with her mommy on the steps of their home, and forty others were injured, according to news reports. Warm tempertures are the causes for spike in crime. They say it was all gang related. Why can't the police fight gang violence? It seems as if they can shoot up the city whenever they want. This is no time to be cutting budgets at the sake of young and innocent children who can't go to the playground because of being killed. In some cities the police is outmanned and outguned, they need help, how about the National Guard, better still the military.Give these thugs a target that will shoot back. Gangs are branching out, the police has to branch out too. What good is a police department that let thugs being down the good name of a city?
